Wolf tags now available

Idaho will allow 2 per hunter @ $31.75 each. You must first have an Idaho license in order to purchase online. Non resident is $154.75. Not sure what MT will charge but they went on sale today. Get out and shoot some wolves before you have no big game left to hunt!

I live on the edge of the boundary waters in NE MN and I'm still waiting for the day I can buy a tag. We have about twice as many as the rest of the lower 48 combined. They have little fear of man, we have them in our yard frequently and it's not uncommon for them to walk into town and eat someone's dog.

I'm hoping the states get control over Grizzlies in the Yellowstone ecosystem soon, they need some population control and some fear of man put back into them.

Well, how about live trapping and a relocation? I mean why kill the wonderful addition to the eco system? We just send a dozen or so truck loads to DC. I mean if they are so damzed wonderful, DC needs some. Hell I even know the perfect spot for release, it has a high fence, plenty of grass and a few trees and the guy living in the big house inside the fence will not mind at all.

What about the Triple S approach? Shoot, Shovel and Shut-up.

A lot of them are collared or GPS chipped, the feds would spend more time & effort on this than they would a missing person.
