Gotta get a Live Trap
 

Went out a few minutes ago to let the dogs out and have a couple of Foxes in back yard. Guess I gotta get with DOW n borrow a live trap to get rid of em...getting too friendly!

Yeah..I know. I also know about the ixnay stuff. But it iss verboten:eek:....but I don't know who dunnit:cool::D

Get a 22 rifle with a long barrel and a locked breech (bolt, pump, single shot). Keep the muzzle inside an opened window. One shot, shut the window and put the gun away. The neighbors will never figure out what that noise was- it won't be very loud if the muzzle's inside.
So I've heard, anyway. :)

An even better idea..22 LR bolt gun.. get a box like a kitchen match box.. Cut a hole in the end. to fit the bbl. Little steel wool and tape it to the muzzle after sliding the outside cover on. Scope will work. Fire the rifle once and everything will become clear.. It really does work..and noone will really hear. Sounds about like an air gun...as jack said..so I have heard!! LOL

Both were transplanted......brought 2 cages to work n put em out on the river......acted real ghappy!

When I was a kid I shot a cotton tail from my bedroom window. Loud!!!! My Dad chewed my butt but I did get the rabbit.

When I lived in town I shot a squirrel out my bedroom window with 22 handgun / birdshot..he only run away but the echo in town was unreal. Then in middle of night, buddy and I sitting on porch I shot a opossum with pellet rifle point blank. Neighbor came running out asking who just shot a pellet gun. 'I don't know'. 'Probably those punks down the street standing there'....I had to make her look down the block as I kicked the dead rat layin there into the bushes...but when we had a drunk round the block, run into my daughters car, push it into another one, not a soul heard a thing. Lol. Sure do not miss city living. I guess some towns have alarms that can tell gunshots and location of them.
