Making Frizzen Covers...

Yesterday, I went to the local Agway store in town and looked over the muzzleloader stuff. I saw a leather frizzen cover for $2.99 + tax. I bought it and took it home to try on my flinters. It was about three-fourths inches too long and about the same too wide. I used it as a pattern on some scrap leather I had on hand. I reduced the dimensions as needed and tried the final product on various muzzleloaders. The fit was very good.

Today, I set up my leather craft shop in the den and made 9 leather frizzen covers. My quality control improved to the point I have made enough for my stepson and Gil Martin.

Gil, how many frizzen covers will be enough?
