Smoker question
I'm wanting to get a smoker but I don't want one that's going to require a lot of attention during the smoking process. What type would you recommend? Once I get more proficient at it I may go with a different type but I'm just starting out so I want to go with one that's relatively stupid-proof. Thanks in advance

It really depends on your budget. If money isn't a major concern get a Cookshack, I love mine and Dad has had his for 25 years with no problems. If the budget is tight get a Mastercraft. Two of the guys that work for me have them and get along just fine. Not near the quality of the Cookshack but less than a quarter of the money too. Whichever way you go KEEP GOOD NOTES on everything you smoke.

Thanks Indy. Of course money is a concern, but I'm more interested in the ease of use. Like I said, I'm just starting out so I want something that's gonna be easy to use. Once I get the hang of things I'll probably upgrade to something better. Right now, I just want a smoker that's gonna do most of the work for me and I don't have to tend to it too much. Thanks again

Go with a Bradly Digital. I have a standard & love it.. Can put 8+hrs of 'pucks' in it & oince temp is set, you can pretty much forget it.

I like that one Toxic, looks pretty idiot proof to me. I guess I'll have to start saving all my nickels and dimes :D

When my current Bradley dies I will getting the digital...
