Sorry guys, there have been a couple of close family members that passed away recently and I haven't been doing much else besides family stuff.
My uncle, who was a navigator in a Lockheed Vega Ventura bomber out of the Aleutians in WW2, passed away in late January.
My aunt passed away about six days after his funeral and it has been quite the shock.
I'll be on when I can get time.

Btw, instant email notifications for thread subscriptions don't work.

Jack 02-22-2016 07:30 AM

Sorry for your loss, Skinny.

I guess a lot of us are at that point in life where our family and friends leave us. Sorry to hear about your loss Skinny.
Good to see you here though.

Skinny Shooter 03-17-2016 01:19 PM

Thanks.
You have to basically put most of life on hold for a time when stuff like that happens.

Muledeer, yep. The photography studio has taken a back seat due to a number of reasons. Still do some commercial work but not people like I used to.

I got my Class A CDL learner's permit about three years ago and learned it while OTJ part-time.
Passed my test and drove PT for about two years.
Even though I was home most nights, it wasn't for me.
Driving was to help make ends meet and now I'm FT in the smithy.
Things are still tight but there aren't many people capable of swerving in front of my hammer while at the anvil.
Have been raising honeybees since 2011 which is a blast.

Glad to see some familiar faces are still around.
