It's been a long time since I've visited this place. This site used to be bustling with posts. What the heck happened? I'm seeing posts on the first page from 2008! I'm thinking we need a revival.

This site used to be my favorite and I read various posts every day. Too bad because there used to be a lot of traffic on this site. It is what it is. Take care.

Just checking in, got my deer in the freezer and life is good, all in order here in Michigan. Settling in, which means hibernating, for the winter, lol.

Didn't bother to shoot a deer. Got a cow elk on one of my licenses...17 more days to go on the elk season...but winter is kinda here and the last time we were up hunting elk we saw 3 grizzlies...a real concern these days. Daughter shot a couple of yotes. She wants to make mittens and a yote hat. Sick individual. I shot one in the yard last week at 11 dark 30...they do get brave

empty freezer
 

no deer yet. The farms surrounding the private property I hunt in Gladwin did not plant any crops this year. No reason for the deer to hang around.

Still looking, and hoping to fill a few of the tags gathering dust here.

I still check in . What happened was that folks just stopped checking in. Two nice deer in the freezer here. Health still holding. I have a new grand daughter. Life, for the most part, is good. ***128512;
