longbow or recurve?
in general:
the recurve will shoot a faster aero ...
the longbow is usually easier to shoot ...
accuracy? both can be deadly accurate given the correct aero and archer.
both can be very unforgiving of shooting errors or incorrect aero spine and "set-up" ...
medieval english archers were accuate out to 200 yards with their longbows ... (accuracy being relative to a man-sized target) english law of the period dictated they train at least once a week (sunday) and at those ranges.
