I picked lakes just because I like to be lazy and just sit there and watch my line. But, I've rediscovered tailwaters this year, and haven't had fish fight me like the ones I've caught in those heavy currents.
Now as far as what kind of fish I like to catch...basically whatever's biting!
I like panfish, so we go after a lot of those. I love catfish, but I never have any luck catching them, not so much as one on my own line. I love the fight carp give you, even though in the state own waters in KY you can't keep them. But, then again, who'd WANT to keep a carp? I just couldn't imagine eating something like that, and who'd want to mount something that ugly and...lippy?
