Thumbs up ..would hate to be without my .250....

I bought my .250 savage about 2 1/2 years ago, slightly used. It is a Savage model 111 FL (lefty), made in 1996. I bought it for $230.00 for the scoped rifle, 200+ rounds of ammo, 50 brass and a set of dies.

I bought it as a possible trading item, but there is almost NO CHANCE of me trading it or selling it.

I have killed several coyotes with it, plus 2 or 3 bobcats. I like the way it shoots, plus it has a bit more punch than my .223 . And.... I just kinda like the fact that not everyone has one!!

I use a 75 grain Sierra HP, with 44 gr H414, with Win LR primers, for a velocity of 3320 FPS. According to the Savage website, it has a 1 in 10" twist. I get good accuracy from the sporter weight barrel, about 3/4" groups.

Now that I have this rifle, I would hate to be without it. It has become my favorite coyote/predator rifle.
