I haven't read your posts in a while, but the headline seems a little off. I don't see anything in the story that says that man shot his wife or that his wife was even present. In fact, I think they said that the relationship of the two has not been released yet. Okay, I am done picking on you.
As far as I am concerned, the LEO did what was right. Too bad he didn't know the guy was going to fire another shot so that he could have killed the guy before the guy got that shot off. Life is tough as an LEO, as are the decisions.
