I've been in Florida in May and October, and while May wasn't too bad, October was sweltering. I cannot imagine what it is like down there during the summer.

It has just started to get cold in Maryland. Today was about the coldest it has been this entire winter (i.e., in the 20's) and we are supposed to get our first significant amount of snow over the next couple of days. The townhouse was so cold I was wondering what was wrong with the thermostat, but finally figured out that somebody adjusted the temp. readout so that it showed 3 degrees warmer than actual (i.e., the thermometer was reading 67 degrees, but it was actually 64). I had the termostat set to drop to 62 degrees at night to save energy, so the house was actually 59 degrees at night. I had been wondering for the past couple of days why it was so cold when I went to sleep and woke up. Now, it almost feels like summer in here.

Oh yeah, the water runoff line for the furnace and A/C is frozen so it is draining in the furnace room. That is fun. Got a bucket underneath it and I hope that solves the problem.

-54, you can definitely keep that. I think I will stay in Maryland where it doesn't get too cold or too warm, for the most part. We did have a couple 60 degree days earlier in the month, and I told the fiance we would pay for it in snow and here it comes.
