That right there is a touchy subject Quigley..some folks blame it on the parents..some say it should be blamed on the kid. I think it could possibly be a mixture of both..but I agree that the kids nowadays aint got the sense God gave a rock when it comes to takin responsibility fer what they've done.
Just like them kids that holler "my daddy sexually abused me" to git em thrown in jail, and then 10 years later admit they lied. Why would they do that? The Good Lord only knows, probaly cause they was just riled up cause they wouldnt let em go to some dance er sumthin..er just aint git what they wanted in general.
But irregardless, nobody can parent their kids no more..the government does. As long as that is goin on..you'll hear more and more of this kinda thing.
But I'll tell you what, my Pop was onrier than a swamp snake on a nest of eggs...and I did what I was told! You werked them feilds wether you felt like it er not! made me a better person tho..and iffin I tried to tell my son to git out there and start pullin suckers offa them baccer tops..he'd probaly laugh in my face. Holler at him, and it's mental abuse. Smack his butt, and it's physical abuse.
And in a few years..he'll be hollerin abuse by the state when he's sittin at the state farm fer the rest of his life..and it all boiled down to lettin him git away with everything he done.
