Regarding wood and metal for a 1911 Schmidt-Rubin, it depends. I would check with Sarco, Inc. at

www.marstar.ca and Gun Parts Corporation at
www.gunpartscorp.com. Another source might be Southern Ohio Gun at
www.southernohiogun.com. If these places do not have 1911 stocks or metal, perhaps they can give you a lead. All the best...
