I might also suggest you look into (pun intended) Decot Hy-Wyd glasses.
They were designed by a shooter, for shooters. They sit higher and wider than standard glasses - hence the name - and allow you to see through the lens rather than the frame when you mount a gun.
I wear mine as daily glasses, even though I only need reading lenses. I had them set up as plano tops with 1.25 diopter bifocal. Perfect.
