I know when I took hunter safety you didn't shoot any rimfires. Just took a written exam with about 50 quesitons. Basic common sense questions. Anyways, you cuold always go up to a local sporting store (depends on age) and buy a .22 for cheap. There are several different brands for less then $200 Ruger 10/22, Rem 597, Marlin and Savage.
