The York St Patricks Day Parade was held this past Saturday. The corvette club had about 22 cars there, some of which were carrying people from the local t.v. station. Being the President and having set the whole thing up I got to carry a real sweetheart.
Like Mel Brooks said "It's good to be the King" or the President in this case.
Anyway, while we were standing around waiting for the parade to start I look around and see this guy who looks like Govenor Ed Rendell walking towards the cars. When got up to us, sure enough it was the Govenor. Shook his hand and talked with him for a brief minute. Although I didn't vote for him, kinda neat to meet him. Have to admit it was neater to meet the anchorwoman. smittensmittensmitten
