PC world has gone insane. Cursing and defiance was met with a bar of soap and a paddle when I was a boy, but we cannot do any corporal punishment now. In Houston the kids are given tickets and then they have to go to criminal court. It's a darn shame when chewing gum or being in the hall without a pass ends up being a misdemeanor criminal record. Midol, aspirin, and any other analgesic drugs could land a kid in court also. The school district I pay taxes in has let teachers exhile students from the class room when they are constantly disruptive, just what the kid wants them to do. We now have "alternitive schools" for those children who cannot follow the basic rules of society without constant supervision or discipline. Without discipline teachers can't teach and student can't learn. We couldn't possibly hurt little Billys' self esteem by making him follow some sort of rules that he doesn't like or respect. It's all become some kind of bizzare joke on the rest of us. Is it any wonder that their parents don't have any courtesy and drive while watching videos and doing their hair and make-up, putting the rest of us at risk.

I feel better now. Thanks for letting me rant a little bit.
