Hey, thanks for the heads-up. I checked Cabela's and they don't list it on their web site but I did find it in my handy-dandy hardcover "Limited Edition" Cabela's catalog! Did you get one of those yet?
Anyhoo, I found the electric converter and it will probably work, it's "almost" the same set up. Trouble is that it's more than half the cost of the brand new smoker! That's sort of why I was looking for a used version. I can actually buy the exact copy of what I need from Brinkman directly and it's about the same price as the Cabela's model too. I'll hold out for a while as I have a brand new unit now and was hoping to keep the older unit functioning for the big jobs when the Albacore hit the coast!
