Ernest T Bass, what a character! I loved that guy and my wife and I still watch that show almost every night after recording it on DVR. It was about what was right in America and the wife and I are lookin' for our own "Mayberry" to get away from this left coast.
Wouldn't it have been great to be a Sherriff and have your worst "bad guy" be a guy like Earnest T?
