Another loss.
It's ironic that we lost Ernest T Bass the other day from The Andy Griffith Show and now Eddie Albert from another show my wife and I watch and just howl at! Heck, I just recently bought the first seasons worth of DVD's. I love watching them when I'm in my trailer on my duck hunting trips.
I had the opportunity to Mr. Albert back in '97 or '98 at a business conference at UCLA. He came and spoke to us about the Arbor Day Foundation which he was very involved in. We shared a few stories about trees and then about his career. He was a very nice and sincere man. I had no idea he was as old as he was! He would have been well into his early 90's when we met. I woulod have never guessed that.
