My step-sons graduation was tonite. A week ago I wrote about two kids from school being killed in a car wreck. Well the parents from the one who was going to graduate were there tonite to accept his diploma. The father had cut off jean shorts and a t-shirt.
WTF? He wasn't the only one there dressed like that either. Hey, I like to wear jeans and a t-shirt as much as the next guy(well, I guess not) but there is a time and place for it. Graduation isn't the place for it. How much trouble is it to put on a pair of slacks and a collared shirt? Apparently some people still need their Mom to dress them.

As far as earrings, when I wanted one in high school my Dad told me he could it for me to save me a few bucks. I even had my choice, an icepick or a .22. I waited until college and then only did it to dress up like Alice Cooper for a talent contest.
