As a Hunter, Shooter, and owner of Both .50BMG rifles & "Evil Assault Rifles". I must not only agree with the above post, but remind everyone, that one of the loudest voices shooting the Lies and misinformation offered by the Anti's, that I have heard has been My fellow gun owners!
Too many times I've been asked "Why do You need >Those< kinds of guns anyway?"
Some of the B.S. I've shown to them to be untrue.....
Bubba:"They aren't any good for hunting!"
Me: On the contrary, they are quite good for hunting. They are accurate, reliable, and hard hitting. In fact most "Hunting" guns can trace their origins directly back to military actions.
Bubba: "Those things are meant to be sprayed from the hip."
Me: The adjustable sights, or scope mounted on the top of My rifle would tend to prove otherwise. I can't think of any good reason why someone would design a gun to be "Shot from the Hip"!
I have seen the enemy, and a bunch of them are us! (Pardon the quote mashing!)
