If they are making 6 figures... they SHOULD be saving enough to retire on.
I say SHOULD because I know how it works... the more you make the more you spend... and there never seems to be quite enough every month.
I have been at my current employer for almost 5 years. It's a small engineering firm. 6 production people, 2 project managers and a secretary. I am treated VERY well, compensated well, and am pretty happy... but am starting to get a little bit of the wanderlust. Thinking about changing fields a little bit. Not sure what... but just something to challenge me a little more.
We'll see. I like it here... but some people need new challenges in thier lives occasionally.
