I hate stories like this where somebody is killed.

I hope they have a lot more evidence to convict this guy than what we have seen in the article.

Somehow, I don't think that the body being in a truck tool box and him owning a truck are going to be enough. Even if they were to find a strand of his hair in the box, that probably wouldn't be enough because the two of them has spent the entire day together before she disappeared.

People suck. Obviously, whoever did this is a moron for committing the murder and then a moron for dumping the body in a canal in what I would assume was a plastic truck toolbox because a metal one would not float. People like this need the death sentence.

By the way, did you notice that the two kids had fathers, and did not share the same father. Sad story all the way around. Now they will probably be split up.

This whole thing has nothing to do with internet dating. As far as I am concerned, internet dating is better than finding people at bars, but there are some crazy people on the internet just like you would also find in a bar. I found my wife on the internet (i.e., Match.com), but I also met a lot of crazy women too. The good thing was that I could weed through most of the crazy people rather easily via e-mail and phone conversations, and being able to see their profile was also a good way to stay clear of the undesirable traits.
