Seems like using 2 year-old "tips" would make for some pretty precarious probable cause for search warrants or even for sending a cop by to ask some questions. You're the Maryland legal beagle on the board, what do you think.
We already know what TBO will say on this one. Totally and absoutley proper thing to do. I'm sure his view is that it is normal police procedue to act on two-eyar old rumors and anonymous tips.
