I just had a strange thought my daughter was born premature and has problems with her eyes. To help excersize her eyes we cover one side of her glasses with a cling film. We switch it back and forth between her eyes. It is just lightly frosted so you can still somewhat see thru it but it makes one eye work harder. It may be the same thing as putting a dot on your glasses. I dont know for sure what it is called. I guess if you have tried shooting with one eye closed that it may not make a difference. I wish I could me more help.
