I have both of you beat i have both and i yous both guns
i have killed deer bear and hogs with my 06 i like to youse the 270 for deer and antilope i like the 270 it shoots flater then a 06
for deer.
I have never seen one gun any more accurate then the other or one better then the other they both have inhearent yous that will
edge the other out but they will both do the job.
The 06 will do anything a larg bore gun will do and a 270 shoots as flat as any magnum.
Till the ultra mags came out the 270 had the farthes point blank rang.
I like to match my gun to my needs heavy cover i like the 06 where shots are over a 100 yards i like the 270.
The last few years i have had to hunt with a shot gun in a shot gun only area i miss hunting with my rifel.
