I think this might be kind of like the shark attacks before 9/11. About the only thing on the news was about shark attacks and how bad they were. My buddy, who as a side note flys F-18's, said that the occurence of shark attacks was about the same in 2001 as it was in 2000, but the press reported about it a lot more in 2001 because they didn't have anything to report about. After 911 occurred, I didn't hear a single peep about shark attacks anymore.

Where did all the sharks go? Should I just believe that there haven't been any shark attacks in the last 4 years, or is it that the press has had a lot better stories to report about since 9/11?

The media pisses me off, but at least NBC is asking Nagin tough questions just like Fox. I was over my parents' picking up Nitro tonight and my mom was watching NBC. They asked Nagin who was to blame for this disaster, and he said everybody. The follow up was, "Does everybody include you." The answer was something to the effect of, "Yes, but there are others to be held accountable too". At least the moron has finally admitted that he didn't do his job.

That is okay though, he will probably get re-elected just as Mayor Marion Berry did after he was convicted of drug possession and did time. DC's current mayor is doing a great job and the poor want him out. He has DMV running well along with several other agencies, and the poor don't think he has done enough for them.

Okay, I need to get back to work before I bust a blood vessel on this issue.
