mkay where are all the responses folks? I am about to get hit by a storm here (I live in Texas whooo hooo!) Anyway. Some things that got added to the at home pile today.

Fuel Cylinders (For more modern camp stoves, etc.)
Charcoal (yes that barbque pit will still cook if the power is out)

My Bob (which like an idiot I left at home today when I went to work. . . . .) Contains the following.

Backpack (duh)
chemlights
strike anywhere matches sealed in a ziplock (be sure to by strike ANYWHERE)
several hundred feet of heavy pound test trot line
water (Aqua) 4 16.9oz bottles
Granola bars 6
kabar (even though the 7.5 inch blade is now illegal in Texas . . . freakin liberals)
dry socks in a ziplock
Spare change of clothes (IE comfortable/durable clothing)
machete (In Texas tomahawks are now illegal to carry. . . . freakin liberals)
1911A1 with 2 - 8 round #47d Wilson Combat mags and 1 - 7 round metalform mag (Thank you Texas house for finally putting a definition to "in transit" . . . . . liberals can bite me)
small first aid kit
BC headache powders
BC allergy powders
P51 can opener
M1943 entrenching tool
Leatherman
Small Bible
small notebook with pen sealed in ziplock
mess kit
compass (Don't usually need it but what the heck)

Things I am looking to add. (and should have already)

Flint and steel. . . .
Set of medical dog tags with my info on it.
trip wire (is good for more than you think. . . .)
emergency wistle (mine from off of my old dive gear has apparently dissapeared)

and other things I cant remember off the top of my head but are on the list in my bag)
