I like reading these stories from around the world we get here at HC...So many views..so many different places..information that supplies food for thought....some facts...some opinions....questions that can be answered by people that are experts in a subject....there are lots of places other than 'anything goes' that keep me up most of the night reading..if I don't like to read a post...I just move on to the next one of interest....I am probably older than most here and have noone making me open a post....that is why I bought a puter with an on and off button....lol...in fact I would rather listen to news on this station than on the one sided views of the tv media...I love HC because of the people here and I will belong untill I get kicked out for some dumb reason....I can't believe it started in 1969..did they have computers then?...that is the joined dates of some I see....ok
..so on a hunting subject to keep it 'normal'...got a 7pt yesterday morning...been not taking my bow with me because of the new to archery people I been taking out for proper ..lol..archery training....so since everyone was at work or school, I decided to fester into one of my old buck haunts...a place I use to take newbys and promice them a shot at a buck 6pt or bigger by 9am....In fact I even told my new son-in-law the spot so he could stop there after work since he passes it...but his rider don't hunt..after getting out of the truck and closing my tailgate, a deer took off...darn...already there...so I ventured onto my favorite tree only to have 2 doe walk past about 10yds away..nice..then I slept for a good hour...'is what old dogs do lots of when in woods'..when I opened my eyes he was standing not 15yds looking around..I watched him for a long time before I even picked up the bow..such a nice morning...peacefull..quiet..and the drag was only about 40yds to the truck..'cheeseburger'...I own 4 treestands and have never shot a deer out of one yet..yea the wife asks why I need them...I like to be eye to eye...ground level...makes it tougher..now I can spend saturday with my 2 new to blackpowder people..in fact, one is going to take home the new one I just bought...only they don't know it yet..lol.....enjoy the day all...see ya
