I tried them once on a Golden Retriever because he tore two pads off his feet, and I mean tore off. He didn't like them in the least bit.
I had some tape on my yellow lab's foot recently to stop the bleeding from a cut and he didn't like the tape in the least bit.
Dogs might get used to the booties if they wear them enough, but who knows.
