im almost sure i was lusting over the 3006 at the time, because that was the only caliber in exsistince in my small world. this was before my 270 showed up one day at the house.
hmmmmmmm now that i get to thinkn about i think dad held onto my 270 for 12 years without shooting it. he either had it for 10-12 years the rifle was made from 82-84.
i bet he kept it for me that long. id of never made it. anyways i got the rifle brand new in the box on my 11 or 12th birthday. now shes taken around 7 bucks and one bull elk.
kinda thinkn i want to get dad the 700bdl. his rifle is the bdl in 3006, nope changed my mind a mtn rifle in stainless laminated.
ill scope it and get my overal lenght on the bullets before i hand it to him. he likes tough bullet. his bullet of choice in the partition. id have to go against the grain and load him triple shocks.
anyways im getn way of track.
