A First Edition copy (1792) of Izaak Walton's classic "Complete Angler" for $290 is (or was) a bargain. Even a rebound copy like this one is worth more than that.
Wish I'd known. There I was on Sunday evening, with the proceeds of a gun show in my pocket...and no internet connection.
