Yeah, people like that do not deserve life in prison.
I had a client of mine go to jail for 30 days a couple of months ago and I went to visit him. He told me that being in jail was like being on vacation. He got to sleep as much as he wanted, he got 3 hot meals a day, and he had plenty of time to workout. In his case, he probably deserved the "vacation" because it was the result of a violation of probation on a prior drinking and driving charge.
These guys deserve hard work, and I mean extremely hard work at the minimum. 18 hours a day of rock breaking would be fine with me. The death penalty would also be fine with me. Granted, this is if they are indeed the ones that killed this old man.
