While down at my grandfathers in SC I had a chance to shoot some real strange ammo for my CZ-52.
The ammo I bought at a flea-market was loaded with 46grain 22cal HP's in remington style sabot's.
I was able to hit 20-ounce plastic soda bottles at 20-yards on a pretty regular basis once I got the ammo sighted in.
I traded gopher-traps(2-milk crates full)for 200rounds of 7.62x25 ammo,which I thought was hardball but was 100rounds of handloads which were loaded with a 46grain HP/sabot over 6.0grains of AA#5 in Starline brass,he loaded it for a TT-33 Tokarev which my uncle bought,and 100rounds of 100grain "Plinker"bullets over 5.5grains of AA#5.
I saw more CZ-52's and Tokarev's in 7.62x25 down that way than I ever saw up here in Minnesota.
CZ-52's for $85.00 and TT-33's for $199.00 was the going rate.
Makes a great beat-around handgun that is a blast at the range!
