Could you elaborate on the perceived differences between SI and SII. The only technical differences I've got form Sightron web site are: fully multicoated (SII) vs just multicoated on some lenses (SI), and some brand jargon about the adjustments.

Which SI and SII do you have?

I'm trying to decide between SI 3-9x40MD and SII 3-9x42. I need a lot of eye relief for my inline muzzleloader, and not all SII provide this. On paper, at 3x the SI has a bit more relief (4.5) than the SII (4.2). An the SI is almost half the price. Tough choice.
