My wife has already shot sporting clays a couple of times with a pharmacist friend of hers before she met me. This guy is an instructor and taught her how to shoot a little with a 20 ga. o/u. As far as hunting is concerned, the only thing I think she needs to see is how excited Nitro gets when we get in the field and then she will understand why I feel so bad when we don't knock anything down for him to retrieve. All it will take is a little time and I think I will have her hooked. Speaking of hooked, I already know that she wants to go fishing out on the boat.
She wasn't brought up doing this sort of stuff, but she is definitely interested in it. She has come to the clays range on several occassions just to watch me, my brothers, my dad, and friends shoot.

far out. that makes me happy to hear that. nothing better than having your soul mate as your hunting, fishing and shooting partner also.
when my wife and i got married we camped out spent our honeymoon in the mountains in montana fly fishing a creek. we was poor as dirt but didn't give a rats rump. we had each other. hard to believe that was 44 years ago. time flies buddy, make use of every minute. if ya don't you'll look back and say "wtf" happened?
