They made deer hunting here in Maryland legal on some Sundays and I haven't really heard many complaints about it. I just wish they would do the same thing for the rest of the season and for every Sunday. I agree that some farmers might not want people to hunt on their property on Sundays, but if we were all honest people that wouldn't be a problem. If a farmer told me that I could only hunt on his property on Thursdays, I would be fine with that. I'd find some other places to hunt the rest of the week, or just work every day except for Thursday. I completely respect the farmer's viewpoint.

As far as it takign an act of the General Assembly, that is probably right. So, you should talk to your representative about it. The game commission can only make recommendations, they cannot make the law. It is an executive agency that enforces the laws that are passed.
