Skyline, I agree with you 100 %,
I feel that you can be religious without being hypocritical. Maybe what I write I will have to anwer to my maker when I stand before him one of these days, but I can pray and feel closer to, and feel his presence, when I'm in the outdoors. I'm not cutting down churches, because they are God's houses, however I get my hackles raised, when during the week, individuals can raise holly terror, and then go to church on Sunday with their suits and ties and give you their" I'm better than you are" / " holier-than-thou" syndrome, that's why I've almost quit going.
I can pray to God when I'm in the outdoors and I feel at peace with myself, because I feel the great outdoors is God's creation and closer to him. I feel better about this after reading Matthew6:-5-6 &7
These are my feelings and opinion alone, does anyone else out there feel the same way ?????
