How do you cook Walleyes, (or any other freshwater fish).
I've tried many, many ways but I haven't found one I like better than just coating them with some Fry Magic and frying them quickly in the hottest oil (or butter) you can get without burning. I use a coleman stove & cast iron pan outside so I don't smoke up the house. Key is to get the oil hot before you put the fish in. I like to keep the fillets whole, but will cut the larger ones in half. Fry skin side down first to prevent curling.
On the side: Bread, Beans and your favorite cold one.
