I always thought the BDL's had sights on them. Mine do. Maybe this one has been altered, like glassed action and floated barrel. That's quite possible and sights removed then. I have several older Remington BDL's from the '80s, and they are things of joy, very accurate. However, my latest one, a BDL in .25-06Rem. purchased last year, is the worse rifle I've ever purchased. I think maybe Remington has went too far with the bean counters and cost cutting, and now it's coming back to haunt them. It's really sad. They had been excellent for so many years.
