Their presence will certainly not hurt anything, and I am grateful for their service. However, it was nothing more than a token gesture. Please do not be fooled by it. Any reduction in apprehensions in the areas where they have been deployed (at least at the current levels of deployment and in their current capacity) will be temporary at best.
