What I find hilarious is that we as hunters feel the need to keep it a secret. I used to worry about it too, but I don't anymore. If a client comes to my home/office, he/she will see decoys on top of all of my bookcases, a wood Remington ammo box on my desk, and art work of waterfowl and deer on the walls. Of course, my mounts are hanging on the 4th floor because I just do not have room for them in my office.

Do vegetarians feel as though they need to justify why they do not eat meat? I doubt it. Does it mean I cannot like the Beatles music and be a hunter at the same time. Who knows whether or not vegetables can feel pain or not. They very well might be able to, but just cannot convey it like animals do. I can continue going around in a circle here, but my point is that we should not be ashamed that we hunt and own firearms.

Some of my clients are surprised that I own firearms, but I haven't lost a single client that has found out and I live in liberalville. In fact, I have actually had two client ask me if I would be willing to take them to the range and teach them how to use a gun. They have never fired one in their lifetime. Personally, I think if more people were open minded and would try to fire a gun sometime in their lifetime, they would see that guns can actually be fun instead of the evil that they are portrayed to be by the media. Yeah, guns can be used for violence, but so can knives, cars, bottles, golf clubs, baseball bats, etc. Again, those items can also be used for fun. Knives are used every day for eating and cooking. Bottles are used to deliver food and beverages. Golf clubs are used to play golf and baseball bats are used to play baseball.

The first gun I ever used to kill a deer was my dad's Savage 110 in .30-06. My dad has never sold a gun and neither have I. Eventually, I will inherit that rifle from him. Likewise, the first pheasant I shot was with a Browning A-5 and the first dove I shot was with my grandfather's .410 single shot, the maker of which I have no idea.

What does your husband do that he does not need to know what the day of the month is? Does he do any other hunting other than deer hunting?

Regarding MySpace.com, I do not have a good handle on using it. My brother and his girlfriend use it a lot, but I have no idea how to navigate the site. I'll try to check out more of your myspace page later on this evening.
