Just jumpin' in here, probably not where I should though its not an attempt to hijac...
What's the deal about crests? I have a 1908 Brazilian Mauser. I know that because of what the crest says. And man is it ever altered. It was a 7X57.
Says Deutsche Waffen - UND Munitionsfabriken Berlin.
It had been used and abused by someone's army I suppose. But is a sweethear now that its been completely altered. Pretty much like the one pictured above but black.
BTW, I'm a shooter, not a trader......
