Wow, that bites! A rough day in court stinks, I know.

Unfortunately, though, you kinda illustraited my point. Very few of us will ever get paid to do the things that we enjoy. Yeah, I would love to work as a Shooting Instructor, or be able to pay my bills and have a good life working as a Land Manager on some farm, but the truth is that we would starve if I held out for a job like that. That is why I want him to know what the real world is like early on. I want him to find his happiness, but also be realistic in his approach to what that would entail. Yeah, my wife and I enjoy our jobs, but they do not reflect who we are and what we do as individuals.

Honestly, I hope he can find something that he loves doing and that pays well. That would make me happier than a lark! But the truth is that the odds are against it and I don't want to see him disappointed if it turns out that can't do what he loves for a career.

On a lighter note, speaking of courts and bonds, did you read / hear about Dog The Bounty Hunter, his son Leiland (sp?), and Dog's brother ('Youngblood') being arrested? ... For "Failure To Appear"?!? I almost shat myself I laughed so hard!
