I think for the most part this one was the exception and not the rule down here too. Saw several in the 14" to 15" range and our party took two both in there. We've had some pretty good luck down here the last few years not taking anything less than 14". I grew up around Rock Springs and have hunted nearly every area in the south half of the state. So far I'm more impressed with the east side than the west. Easier access on the west side but that also means more hunters and spooked game. South of Rawlins was particularly hard to get around with checker board ownership and limited cooperation from ranchers. They're most interested in making the big bucks letting outfitters hunt. Be happy to give any of you guys a hand looking for areas or helping on a hunt in this area if you draw a tag.
