The one laying down is indeed the spike. The one to the left was initially about 5 feet from me before I spooked her and she ran over to the spike. She was feeding along a concrete wall when I walked up to take the picture.
Didn't check into the farm because things have changed for me. My wife is pregnant, so that takes priority over the purchase of a farm right now. The farm will probably have to wait until next year, or maybe even further on down the line. I need to see how expensive children are first.
