Personally, and I am not a nice person at times, I don't think we need to reach out to these terrorists in the muslim religion. I feel that we should make it clear to the non-terrorist muslims that we will not go quietly into the dark and hide from their dastardly and inhumane deeds. We should make it clear to the peace loving muslims that it is in THEIR and the muslim world's best interest to stop the terrorists in the muslim religious world. THEY should do it. The only way to answer the terror that is perpetrated by the muslim extremists is to irradicate the ones who do not believe in peace. The bad part of that is that the peaceful peoples in the middle will usually be the ones to suffer. BUT I do not see them out there telling the extremists they are wrong. They support them through their inaction. In Iraq and elsewhere I think the military should go into each and every mosque and search it for terrorists, ammunition, explosives or anything that would or could be considered an aid to terrorists. If anything is found, the mosque should simply be destroyed along with the clerics who are suppoting terrorism. They certainly could NOT be considered to be a peace loving cleric. Support terror....and die!! Certainly that is what the terrorists in the muslim religion are doing to anyone they disagree with. They simply kill them...usually while hiding behind a mask!!
