Its coming, no doubt.
We didnt let anything happen. What happened has been happening for decades. Too many urban people dont hunt and generations have grown up without a weapon in their hands. They dont know any better. They know uncle sam will take care of the bad guy and dont know the joy of hunting at all. It got lost along the way. It didnt happen just this last November. I can promise you my kids are growing up the same way I grew up with a gun in their hands. And, Ive incorporated a neighbor kid that otherwise would have never been exposed and hes thrilled with his new hobby. His dad is even going to buy him a gun.
Too little too late Im afraid. Just because they didnt do it in the first hundred hours dont mean its not coming. I dont think it will be an all at once thing either. They will continue chipping away until they got us just where they want us and then we will be forced to conform to laws much like Canada. Then on to GB, Europe and Austrailia.
We will be registering and satisfying liberals to why we need each weapon and waiting for their approval or denial. No handguns period. Then, have to ask permission to purchase ammo and get a purchase order and give them inventory when they ask.

Ive been using the long winter nights for years loading ammo for a couple of rifles and pistols. Maybe, just maybe, I can hide a couple of each for emergencies. At least Ill have something to shoot out of them.
I had a conversation with a fella from England not long ago about Sierra bullets. He said he was out of a certain bullet and couldnt get any more. I offered to buy a box and ship them to him. He said no way. If he got caught, the firearms officer would take away his PRIVLEGE forever.
