Maybe I missed the point, but I thought that the complaint was about sting operations on gun dealers catching them in the act of selling guns illegally.
I fully agree that dealers should not be responsible for legally sold firearms subsequently being used illegally or carelessly.
What I don't get is if the problem is criminals with guns, why doesn't Bloomberg lobby lawmakers to put the crooks behind bars for a longer time doing harder time? Same with car thieves.
